Ingleton Wood Martindales has carried out a wide range of community and social projects, including multi-purpose community halls, sports centres and leisure facilities. Clients include parish councils, sports clubs and voluntary organisations.
A particular specialisation of the Practice is in the health sector, and we have provided design services for Children and Family Centres, and Day Care facilities. The Practice has been involved with the full range of building projects, from new build, extension or conversion, through to repair and refurbishment of existing buildings.
An essential element of all schemes in this sector is consultation both with user groups and the wider community. Our team can assist with the development of a strategy for community consultation and participation at an early stage of every project.
Sustainability is a fundamental part of our design ethos, and we can evaluate low-energy solutions and renewable energy options from an early stage to incorporate into the scheme development.
As part of the Ingleton Wood LLP group, we can provide a multi-disciplinary integrated team of planners, architects, engineers and environmental designers to create optimised and coordinated design solutions for our clients.
