At Ingleton Wood, our multi-disciplinary teams can provide a huge range of energy and sustainability analysis. From a holistic overview of the energy strategy of your development to a more detailed look at the overheating risk in buildings we can provide an analysis to suit your need.
Energy Statements are tailored to meet the requirements of each local authority, as there is no standard format. We liaise with councils and find out what they want from an Energy Statement, therefore ensuring the best chance for your planning application to be reviewed successfully.
We will provide you with a detailed statement that outlines the different considerations including costs carbon reductions and the relevant calculations, and have the expertise to ensure we meet all the requirements.
Low and Zero Carbon (LZC) reports are required under BREEAM in order to gain credits for the use of renewable technologies.
Our assessors can analyse your project and renewable technologies available to suggest the most economic and feasible LZC technologies for use on site. These early stage reports have the potential to inform the energy strategy for the development and help reduce the energy demand and use throughout the life of the scheme.
Ingleton Wood have trained specialists who can perform thermal modelling calculations for any type of building. These calculations can be used to inform a more energy efficient design and mitigate against unwanted solar gains. We can evaluate the likelihood of overheating in buildings (and advise on solutions) and even predict the effect that climate change might have throughout a building lifespan.
